Lenskart officially launches the Barcelona-based fashion sunglasses brand Meller in India, marking a key milestone in its global house of brands strategy. Following Lenskart’s strategic acquisition of Meller, the brand known for its bold designs targeting Gen Z and Millennials will now be available across Lenskart’s digital and physical channels. This move aims to significantly boost Lenskart’s premium offerings and capture the growing demand for international, fashion-forward eyewear in the Indian market.
The deal for Lenskart to acquire an 80% stake in Meller (Stellio Ventures S.L.) was signed on July 12, 2025.
The acquisition was subsequently disclosed publicly in their Draft Red Herring Prospectus (DRHP) filed with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) on July 29, 2025, with the transaction value being approximately ₹407 crore (€41.5 million).
